Relaxed UK Immigration Rules For Education And Business

To make the country more attractive to international students, the United Kingdom relaxed its immigration rules. The UK Home Office said in a statement that the changes will also provide greater flexibility to businesses that sponsor and employ international migrants and to business visitors.

Mark Harper, Immigration Minister of UK said in the statement that the new changes will ensure that the country continues to attract global talent to be employed for British businesses and study at UK’s world-class universities.

He added that the immigration reform is working, and the immigration routes have been tightened where abuse was rife while still encouraging the best and the brightest to visit the country.

The new changes make it easier for graduate entrepreneurs to assume skilled jobs and allow international students to enter corporate internships after completing their degree.

According to the Home Office statement, changes in the business visitor visa rules will allow employees to commence corporate training in Britain where it is delivered by an external company.

Business visitor visa allows global organizations to bring their own auditors, thus making it easy for such organizations to complete international audits.

Harper said that the UK is open for business, and they are building an immigration system that supports growth and works in the national interest.

Following the new changes in the rules, individuals on graduate entrepreneur visas will be able to switch more easily to a skilled worker visa.
