BC PNP: Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) | ||
British Columbia Immigration has aligned the Skills Immigration Registration System with the Provincial Nominee Program. SIRS is a points-based immigration system to assess and recruit the candidates accordingly. The selected candidate under the SIRS receives an invitation from the Province to apply for the Canada Permanent residence. SIRS system evaluates candidate profile, based on the scores secured; highest ranked prospective immigrants are invited to apply for the Canada permanent residence. How the SIRS system works? Potential immigrants with a valid job offer from the British Columbia employer through the provincial nominee program of the province. The internationals students with British Columbia education exempted from having a valid job offer. The prospective immigrants with the valid job offer from the BC employer can directly lodge an application through British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program. The SIRS registration grants a score to the applicants; ranked applicants will be entered into selection pool of candidates and the highest scored candidates will be invited for the Canada Permanent residency.
