Overview

Austria EU Blue Card is introduced as an immigration card at par with US Green Card. This will allow highly educated skilled professionals from foreign locations to come to Austria and explore the opportunities available in this beautiful rich country.

It is issued in the shape of a bank card. This is a combination of residence permit and work permit. Austria EU Blue Card entitles the visa holder for temporary settlement and employment with a certain employer. The card has a validity period of 2 years.

Eligibilities

• Masters degree

• 5 years of work experience

• You need to have a binding employment offer with 150% of the average yearly gross salary for a full-time employee (Annual gross salary of minimum 52 417.50 € which comes down to 3 745 € gross per month)

• You should not be registered with the Austrian Public Employment Service (Arbeitsmarktservice, AMS)

•  Mandatory labour market test for visa applicants
