107th Express Entry Canada Creates New Record By Issuing 89800 ITA's

Canada has broken the yearly record for Express Entry ITA's, bringing the sum for 2018 to 89,800 in the recent immigration draw. The figure exceeds the record that set in 2017 with 86,023 ITA's.

The Dec 19 draw was the 2nd in a week, and also highlighted the least minimum score of Comprehensive Ranking System in 2018 at 439. ITA's were announced to 3,900 applicants for the 07th consecutive draw and 8th in the year 2018.

IRCC have an immigration intake goal for high-skilled professionals is 74,900 for the year 2018. It was the 27th invitations round beneath the Express Entry in the year 2018 and 107th overall.

Following modifications to the method it practices, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada can presently set a specific number of invitations to be declared.

Where the candidate's number with the weakest score exceeds the invitations number allowed, officials give preference to the profiles of candidates that have been in the pool of Express Entry the highest.

Despite the contemporary change, the latest draw sustained the trend beneath the Express Entry System where the weakest CRS score was well below 500.
