Four-week Gap Since the Earlier Draw

All-program draws usually take place every 02 weeks. However, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (I.R.C.C.) chose to aim the 15 May draw exclusively at Federal Skilled Trades Program applicants only, with a least C.R.S. of 332 points. It enabled the number of top-scoring applicants to build up over a more extended period, raising the minimum C.R.S.

No Provincial Special Draw Immediate to Federal Skilled Trades Draw

In 03 of the 04 former program-specific draws, I.R.C.C. has attended draws for both provincial nominee programs and Federal Skilled Trades. However, there was no P.N.P draw following the F.S.T.P. draw on 15 May, enabling the number of applicants with 600 points for a nomination of the province in the Express Entry pool to make up, raising the minimum C.R.S.
