The Canadian Government declared 3,500 invitations to apply for Canada PR to Express Entry applicants in the latest draw that conducted on 5 February 2020. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System scores (CRS) in this most recent round of invitation was 472 points, which is an increase of 1 point from the past draw that conducted on 22 January 2020.

The Express Entry system directs the pool of aspirants for 3 principal skilled labor immigration classes- Canadian Experience Class; Federal Skilled Worker Class; and Federal Skilled Trades Class.

Applicants are ranked in the Express Entry pool based on a score given beneath the CRS and that considers several human capital parameters such as the age of the applicant, educational level, skilled level experience and knowledge in English language or French language.

An offer of a job is not mandatory in order to be qualified for a Federal Express Entry invitation to apply (I.T.A), but supplementary C.R.S points are given if an applicant has an offer of a job.

The target for new Canada PR admissions through the three federal highly skilled programs is slated to increase to 85,800 ITAs in 2020 and 88,800 ITAs in 2021.

The present draw was insignificantly larger than the earlier invitation round that held on 22 January 2020 which issued 3,400 ITAs. The minimum required CRS score was increased by 1 point related to the 22 January 2020 draw, which had a cut-off CRS score of 471.

Refugees, Immigration, & Citizenship Canada (I.R.C.C) applied a tie-break rule in this draw the date & time were 30 January 2020, at 07:36:26 UTC respectively. It implies that all applicants with a C.R.S score of 472 points who presented their profile in the pool of Express Entry prior to this date & time earned an ITA.
