500 New Application Places Saskatchewan Express Entry

The immigration office in Saskatchewan has again opened its
Canada Express Entry category on July 5th, 2018.
The Saskatchewan Express Entry stream for International Skilled Workers is now accepting 500 applications comparing to 2,600- the 2018 limit. It is likely that it will close within a few hours.
The category attracts skilled workers who intend to live/work in the province. Additionally they must have a profile in the Express Entry Pool and meet the necessary criteria. The Candidates need to pay a $300 non-refundable fee at the time of submission of their application.
Eligibility in Saskatchewan - Express Entry Stream
Candidates who are from outside Canada, or who have legal Canadian status, can qualify for this immigration category, when they do not claim refugee status. Moreover, candidates must:
• Possess a profile in the Express Entry Pool and also have a job seeker validation code.
• Have a minimum Score of 60 out of 100 points on S.I.N.P. grid.
• Offer a valid language test result from a testing agency having official status. The results need to match with the results declared in E.E. profile.
• Complete one year of post-secondary education, training or apprenticeship comparable to the education system in Canada. Additionally they must hold a degree, diploma, or a certificate.
• Also Have one of these :
o One year work experience in the last 10 years in a non-trade skilled profession ;
o Two years work experience in a skilled trade in the last five years; or
o One year Canadian work experience in the last three years either in the trade or in non-trade category.
• Work experience in a high skilled occupation present on the National Occupational Classification 0, A or B having a demand in Saskatchewan.
• Proof of eligible license in Saskatchewan, where the profession is regulated, or is a skilled trade. Moreover, for all skilled trades, a certificate is necessary from the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission.
• A proof of settlement funds and also a settlement plan.
