849 Candidates Are Invited To Apply For Canada PR Under Express Entry Third Draw

Another draw has conducted by CIC on 20 February 2015, after successful completion of two draws by inviting candidates to apply for Canada permanent residency. The Minister for Canada Citizenship and Immigration, Chris Alexander, has announced   selected candidates list from Express Entry pool and invited more 849 candidates to apply for Canada PR on 20 February 2015.

Since the launch of Express Entry on 1 January 2015, this is third round conducted by CIC to pick the qualified candidates and then inviting them to apply for Canada PR. This time the minimum qualifying score was 808, specifying that so far, all the candidates who are invited to Canada are having valid job offers supported by Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).

Canada Express Entry system is a new electronic application management system.. In this new system, maximum of 600 points are awarded for the candidates based on the aspects such as language skills, age, work experience and education. An extra 600 points are allotted for holding a valid job offer by an LMIA.

In 2015, Canada is aiming  to bring in around 185,000 new Permanent Residents, and so far, under the Express Entry program less than 3000 candidates are invited to apply for Canada PR.
