Appeals For UK Family Visitors Removed From June 25th 2013

Effective from 25th June 2013, UKBA has declared that the right of appeal for the visa applicants who visit UK with Family Visitor Visa has been removed.

The new rules and arrangements are applied on or after June 25th for people who enter into UK. Family Visitor Visa applicants can submit their fresh applications immediately after receipt of appeal. Decision has been taken by UKBA to avoid appeals which take same time to be decided as a fresh visa application. Appeal charges were also a concern for visitors as it was much higher than visit visa fee for UK.

The new rule brings Family Visitor Visas into the same line as all other Visit Visas.
