Quebec government accepted 5000 applications for immigration to Quebec, under the Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) on Tuesday. The application process closed within the few hours of opening the online counter, as the government had kept a limit for accepting applications to 5000 only.
Under the immigration program applicants have to submit an online application for Quebec selection Certificate (CSQ), through an online intake system ‘Mon Projet Quebec’. The QSWP is based on ‘first-come, first-serve’ process.
Immediately after the closure of the applications intake an official announcement was made by the Quebec’s Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion (Ministry of Immigration, Diversity, and Inclusion, or MIDI.
The applications will be processed under QSWP only if, the documents of the individual are accurate and reliable. Once the application is submitted online, along with the verified documents the applicants will get a timeframe of 3 months to submit the desired documents to the concerned department.
