The Australian government has announced a new online booking system for immigrants in order to make their access easier to Australian immigration as well as other services, in language other than English.
The Australian Immigration and Border Protection Assistant Minister, Michaelia Cash, has said that the latest TIS Online booking system, which has developed by TIS (Translating and Interpreting Service) National will build interpreter services more effective.
This online booking system is an automated system that permits interpreters and clients to self direct their on-site bookings at anywhere and anytime in a most opportune way.
The new online booking system provides clients as well as interpreters with better visibility of their bookings, permits them to rapidly and effortlessly update their details as well as ensures that they are always kept updated, regarding their bookings change status via an email as well as SMS notifications
Michaelia Cash also said that the formation of new online system focuses on Australia’s Department and Immigration Border Protection dedication to frequently enhancing interpreting services and convenience to jobs for contracted interpreters.
She also elucidated that Telephone interpreting is a very essential service for new immigrants and others who need access to immigration details other than English language.
She further added that apart from offering better service, Translating and Interpreting Service is an online’s web based platform that allows a more expedient as well as perfect booking experience and plays a key role in government dedication to digital first engagement.
