Australian New Visa Points System Will Be Implemented From November 2019

Australia Announces New Changes to Points System
In April 2019, the department of immigration declared some modifications to the points system. These modifications will come in force from 16 Nov 2019.
As per the latest rule, candidates who do not have a partner or spouse will receive 10 points.
Points are given for attributes that are associated with the applicant's capacity to make the most significant contribution on the economy, as the fundamental idea of the skilled migration program is to enhance the economic advantages of Australia migration, the legislation states.
The modifications are to assure more experienced individuals
migrate to Australia, states immigration expert. The new system, coming in force from November, gives ten more points for candidates who are not having a partner or spouse.
The purpose is to bring higher skilled migrants and control unskilled spouses who come along with skilled migrants.
The revisions to the point system support the suggestions made by the Productivity Commission. As per the commission, approximately 50% of permanent skill intake of Australia is secondary applicants, several of them have restricted skills.
In the 2016 report, the Productivity Commission suggested that the points system be revised so that secondary candidates with skills and different acceptable employment-related features provide significantly to the primary candidate points score.
Key Changes in the Points System
Many singles are remaining for the latest point system to kick in to get these ten additional points.
Aspirants who have a skilled partner or spouse will also receive ten more points in the latest system. They will also obtain 5 points if their partner or spouse have proficient in English.
