Australian Skilled Visas Are Successful

A survey ‘Continuous Survey by Australia’s migrants’ released by DIAC(Department of Immigration and Citizenship) revealed that skilled workers coming to Australia on Australian visas are very successful in terms of employment.

The survey results were as follows: 90 percent of skilled workers arriving on employer-sponsored Australia visas found skilled job positions and 75 percent of skilled immigrants are in the age group of 25-44 years (which is considered prime working age).

Further findings of the survey revealed that one-third of Australian family visa holders and two-third of Australian skilled visa holders possessed a university degree.

The participation rate was found to be 95 percent and the overall results of the skilled visa stream were very positive.
