British Columbia PNP announced a total of 271 invitations to apply for immigration applicants for a BC provincial nomination for Canada PR in the latest draw that held on 16 April 2020.
This Provincial Nominee Program of British Columbia (BC PNP) invitation round was influenced by coronavirus measures that have affected businesses in the province of British Columbia, as per their official webpage.
As a result, applicants in the below 34 professions were not incorporated in this week’s BC PNP draw:
The 271 applicants were chosen from both the streams of Express Entry BC and Skilled Immigration. The provincial score condition changed depending on which sub-category the applicants belonged to.
Below the Skills Immigration stream, applicants were invited from the 3 sub-categories those are International Graduate, Skilled Worker, and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled worker. Minimum provincial score demands were 85 points for Entry Level and Semi-Skilled applicants and 100 points for the remaining two sub-categories.
Express Entry BC applicants had their active profiles in the pool of federal Express Entry system. They were received invitations to apply through the Express Entry BC International Graduate and Skilled Worker sub-categories. The minimum required provincial score demands were 102 and 105 respectively.
Those who got an invitation to apply now have a maximum of 30 calendar days from the date they obtain their invitation to provide a comprehensive application to the British Columbia PNP for the BC provincial nomination.
