British Columbia has conducted a new draw under its Provincial Program on April 18^th, 2018. 225 candidates are invited to apply.

The minimum score for the categories of skilled workers and international graduates in EE was 89 points. Additionally, the score for the skilled worker and international graduate streams of the province was 84 points. Semi-skilled and Entry-level workers had only to score 55 points.

B.C. PNP Draw: April 18, 2018

In the previous draw dated April 11 27 new candidates were invited to apply by using streams of the B.C. Tech Pilot of the province. This Pilot aims at 32 technology occupations. The least score for Express Entry skilled workers as well as international graduates was 89 points. The score for the skilled worker and international graduate streams of the provincial was 84 points. Semi-skilled and Entry-level workers had to score 55 points.

Immigration authorities of British Columbia initiated the B.C. Tech PNP Pilot in 2017. Furthermore, it had an aim to attract skilled workers in 32 technology occupations. It has conducted specific B.C. PNP draws to attract professional technology workers from May 2017.

Firstly, there is a great change today and the province is taking a position to attract technology workers who are on the lookout for offers an alternative to the US policies.

The provincial nomination boosts the chances of selection in Canada Express Entry successfully. It also adds extra 600 Comprehensive Ranking System points.

The Program also publishes the scores which the immigrants must score to obtain an invitation for immigration. The score that an international graduate needs are kept at 30 points lower when compared to skilled workers under the Provincial streams and Canada Express Entry. In case of semi-skilled workers and entry-level workers, the score is still lower.
