British Columbia PNP: Tech Pilot Draw Issues 52 Invitations For Canada PR

British Columbia Province’s most recent Tech Pilot draw issued Invitations to 52 immigration applicants to apply for British Columbia provincial nomination for Canada PR on 23 December 2019.

The British Columbia's Provincial Nominee (B.C P.N.P) Program issued invitations to apply to candidates in the Express Entry British Columbia and Skills Immigration streams.

Nominated applicants were from either the Global Graduate or the Skilled Worker subcategories and were expected to have a least provincial score of 90 points for all subcategories.

The British Columbia PNP Tech Pilot is a fast-track pathway of immigration for in-demand technology workers and global students. It runs through British Columbia’s current provincial immigration categories.

In order to be recognized and eligible for this program, aspirants require having a valid employment offer from BC employer and the job must be listed in one of the BC Tech Pilot’s 29 qualified occupations. The job must be for tenure of one year and above also valid for 120 calendar days outlasting while submitting the application.

Those who want to apply for the Express Entry British Columbia or BC Skills Immigration categories must first produce a profile by the B.C P.N.P’s online portal and enroll under its Skills Immigration Registration (S.I.R.S) System. Applicants are assessed and announced with a score based on several human capital parameters such as level of education, relevant work experience, age, proficiency in English and/or French and employment location.

Federal Express Entry applicants who get British Columbia provincial nomination will be given a supplementary 600 CRS points toward their Express Entry CRS score and are effectively secured an Invitation To Apply (ITA) in the upcoming Express Entry draw.
