Canada Announces Date For Fast Track Visas For Skilled Foreign Workers

From June 12th, foreign workers with a skill set desired by Canadian companies, will have access to a fast track visa programme.

Plans for this new strategy were unveiled last November by both the Former Immigration Manager and Economic Development Minister.

The programme is designed to give Canadian companies quick and easy access to skilled workers from across the globe.

The plan will include a two week standard for processing work permits, eligible workers permits will be processed within two working days and no work permit will be required for those workers who are highly skilled and visiting just for a short period.

Additionally there are plans for the government to create a service dedicated to assist business seeking highly skilled foreign workers, they are creating jobs within the country.
