Canada Express Entry 100th Draw CRS Drops To 284

The Canadian Government has issued 400 - invitations specific to a Program for Express Entry candidates in the Federal Skilled Trades Class, in the draw held on Sep 24^th. The minimum C.R.S. score for it was 284. It again adopted the tie-break mechanism, where the date/time for the draw was Feb 18^th, 2018, at 12:31:16 UTC. Hence, all F.S.T.C. candidates having a score of 284, who submitted their E.E profiles, prior to this date/time, received an I.T.A in the present draw.

Moreover, this was the 100th  round using the  E.E system, introduced in Jan 2015, for managing the  applications in three main economic categories of:

• The Federal Skilled Worker Class,
• Federal Skilled Trades Class
• Canadian Experience Class

Successful Candidates receiving an I.T.A in the present round also get 60 days for submitting a complete PR application, to the Canadian Government. In these draws Program-specific invitation rounds are not the norm.  These draws include candidates of all federal immigration programs.

In the past, a draw specific to a Program for attracting F.S.T.C. candidates was conducted on May 30, 2018. In it, totally 500 such candidates having a C.R.S scores of 288 received the invitation seeking permanent residence in the country. Also this category permits, persons having the valid job offers, or work certification, in certain occupations, to get PR in Canada.

F.S.T.C. Criteria include:

• Two years  work experience (full-time) or equivalent  work experience (part-time) in skilled trade in the past five years,
• Meeting the job requirements for skilled trade as per the N.O.C,
• Having a one year valid job offer for full-time employment or a qualification certificate in a Skilled Trade. Moreover, it has to be issued by an appropriate Canadian authority.

The F.S.T.C. candidates receiving in I.T.A, in the draw have the traits, like scoring 6 in each category, in I.E.L.T.S, a qualification certificate to permit working in a trade in a Canadian province.
