Canada Express Entry Draw Issues 3900 Invitations To Apply

On September 5, The Government of Canada has held a large Express Entry draw, for the present year. It has issued 3,900 invitations to apply seeking Canadian permanent residence. Moreover, it was the fourth all-program draw for the year and had a minimum score of 440. This score is the lowest in CRS score for 2018. It has used the tie-break date and time in the draw which is April 29, 2018, at 14:28:34 UTC. All candidates having the CRS score more than 440, and of 440, who forwarded their profile before that specific date and time, got the Invitation to Apply in this round.

The E.E. system administers the profiles of candidates in three main federal immigration categories. These are:

• The Federal Skilled Workers
• The Federal Skilled Trades
• The Canadian Experience Class

Such Candidates also get a rank as per their CRS score and the candidates with the top rank get an ITA in the regular rounds. The trend of issuing 3,750 ITAs was not followed in Today’s draw. All through 2018, IRCC issued Invitations in a series of draws, and raised the number of ITAs by 250/500. The Draw size was 2,750 in January 2018, and increased to 3,900 now. The regularity of large draws from June helped this score to remain at 440 and prevented it to go high. Large draw sizes, and regular draws, had the combined effect of a low CRS score.

Furthermore, the EE candidates CAN improve their scores, in several ways that result in adding 600 CRS points. PNPs linked to Express Entry were innovative and active during the year. In 2018, IRCC has issued 58,600 Invitations in 18 draws. in the first 18 draws of 2017 it had issued 57,751 of them. In 2017 totally 86,023  Invitations were issued. There are increased targets for admission in Canada in 2018/19, and more Invitations will be issued in this period.

The candidates with language proficiency and working in management, graphic designing, scoring well in IELTS have a great chance to make the grade. Also having a relative as a permanent resident of Canada offers an advantage. The matter now is whether the IRCC will continue this trend of issuing more ITAs in the future.
