Canada: Express Entry Draw Sees Lowest CRS Scores Of 415
20 Apr 2017
A total of 3665 Invitations to apply were issued during the recent Canada’s Express Entry draw, which was conducted on 19th April 2017, for the permanent resident status of Canada to the applicants in the Express Entry pool with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores of 415 or above. Marking the lowest CRS requirement yet, this draw brings the total number of ITAs issued since the introduction of the Express Entry system in January, 2015, to over 100,000.
35,973 ITAs have been issued so far during the initial four months of the year 2017. The number of ITA’s issued during these four months is higher than the total number of ITAs given during the calendar year of 2016. The 3665 applicants who have received the ITA’s during this draw will now be able to submit the application for Permanent Residency of Canada’s federal government.
IRCC has claimed that it will finish the process for all the submitted applications within 6 months period. Accompanying spouse or common-law partner, and dependent children, can come along with the primary applicant to Canada.
The CRS ranking has decreased drastically in last four months whereas the number of the ITA’s released has been increased.
