Canada Immigration Providing Advantage To International Talent

The recent immigration changes introduced by the Canada Government with effect from November 19, 2016, will benefit international students. The system easily improves the chances of foreign students and skilled workers to obtain permanent residence and Citizenship.

The rules will benefit individuals with Canadian degrees and who have completed their post-secondary education in Canada. Skilled workers under few categories with work permits could easily get invitation from the IRCC to Apply for Canada PR.

International students with their post-secondary qualifications in Canada will be given additional 30 points in the Canada Express Entry Scheme.

During the regime of conservation government in Canada (before November 2015), it was imperative for Canadian employers to seek Labor Market Impact Assessment to hire an international talent.

The present changes have reduced the impact of LMIA in the Canada Express Entry Scheme. Previously the express entry system demanded 600 points for a job offer under LMIA; but, now, from November 19 the points reduced to 200 for managerial positions and 50 points for all other positions.

The new amendments are aimed to help those skilled individuals from international community who can join the Canadian lifestyle and make valuable contribution.
