Canada Is All Set To Launch New Express Entry System

In a bid to meet Canada’s economic and labor needs, the minister for Citizenship and Immigration Canada, Chris Alexander, has affirmed the countdown of one month to the launch new Express Entry system—a dynamic immigration system. The latent candidates can generate their profile on 1 January 2015.

Under the express entry system skilled immigrants are selected based on their experience and skills. Individuals holding valid job offers would be chosen first. The detail presented in the Canada Gazette explains the factors on which individuals are selected and ranked to triumph the country’s economy. Study demonstrates that these criteria would help to make sure that newcomers take part more completely in the boosting the country’s economy and assimilate more rapidly into the Canadian society.

The minister also emphasized that further details are presented on the official site of CIC to assist prospective immigrants and employers to understand the process of new immigration system, and to endorse Canada as a preferred destination based on its robust economy, employment opportunities and low taxes.

The new system would result in processing the applications in a faster pace and would enable Canadian government to be more liberal and react swiftly to the country’s changing labor market needs.

All the applications of Canada immigration programs such as the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Canadian Experience Class and Federal Skilled Trades Program would manage under the express entry system.

A part of candidates are also selected by provinces and territories by using Express Entry system for provincial nominee programs.

Apparently, the new Express Entry system would launch at 12 noon EST 1 January 2015. The initial draw for invitation to apply for PR would be scheduled during the last week of January. 

Selected candidates need to go though the immigration process, which includes security and health checks. Applications would be processed within a period of six months or less.

The minister of Citizenship and Immigration Canada, Chris Alexander, has said that with the launch of new immigration system in January, the Canadian government would build a robust economy and confirmed to assist immigrants to succeed in Canada. And the new system would assist in selecting best economic immigrants who would contribute to the Canadian economy, communities and labor market needs.
