Canada's Best Job Markets Dominated By Commuter Belt Cities Around Toronto

Cities located in the commuter belt surrounding Toronto dominate Canadian best job markets in the initial quarter of 2019, as per the new report.
The Labour Market Report Card of Bank of Montreal Regional views Guelph, Ontario reverts to the Number 1 place, thanks in part to the rate of unemployment to just 2.2%, upon a city average of 5.3%.
Remaining Toronto commuter cities to highlight in the top 10 comprise Kitchener secures Number 3, Barrie secures Number 4, Brantford secures Number 5, Hamilton secures Number 6 and Oshawa secures Number 9.
The numbers show precisely how vital Toronto is as a job-producing hub in Canada, despite the city itself not placing considerably in the report.
BMO states that We’ll reemphasize that job market of Toronto is probably powerful in Canada, and the power of these border cities likely reflects commuting exercise and a spillover of jobs in the core outside.

Apart from the domination of Ontario, cities from 04 other provinces of Canada made it into the first 10.
The greatest mover in the report was Saint John in New Brunswick, escalated 31 positions from a year ago due to employment growth of 12.8%, easily the greatest of any city in Canada.
Kelowna, British Columbia was 7th on the list, dropping two positions from a year ago, largely due to its less rate of unemployment that is 3.9%.
Halifax in the Nova Scotia secured 8th place and Saskatoon in Saskatchewan secured 10th place finish the top 10 in the report. The greatest Sherbrooke in Quebec, getting in at number 15 thanks to its low rate of unemployment that is 3.5%.
Other important inclusions were Ottawa secures 14th place, Vancouver secures19th place, Calgary secures 22nd place, and Montreal secures 26th place.
Notwithstanding cities within commuting range of Toronto dominating the report, the city itself has a rank number 27, down 21 positions in the last year with a rate of unemployment 6.6%.
