Canadian Government To Maintain The Percentage Of Parents And Grandparents Between 6% And 7%

Good news for foreign parents and grandparents who planning to Immigrate to Canada. Concerned liberals promulgated that they would increase the applications quota of parent and grandparents to 10,000 in the coming immigration program that is about to open on 4 Jan 2016.

However, no specific oaths have been made in how the applications quota are easily met each year. As of 1 April 2015 statistics, it was found that around 68,000 parents and grandparents were found in the waiting room for Canada's immigration. Moreover, no one had any idea on the count of applications to be granted each year and their waiting times. Reportedly, the Canadian government has planned to put forth the requests that it is going to accept in 2016.

Sources noted that the first priority will be given only to certain overseas individuals with Canadian work experience or Canadian education. These foreigners are given the priority because if their potential work experience that they have in the province. Moreover, overseas applicants who do not have the valid Canadian education or work experience are also eligible for lodging the application, only if they meet the minimum criteria of work experience, language proficiency, age and education.

While prospective Parents and Grandparents can Migrate to Canada for their dream under the listed economic streams, which many individuals do not. But the only requirements that they are suggested to meet is that they must and should have the qualified sponsors in Canada. And the sponsors are recommended to qualify certain financial tests and make the required commitments for the same, said the sources.

Sources have also stated that Canadian government has set to improve its target of economic immigrants, by maintaining the percentage of parents and grandparents between 6% and 7%.
