Chances Of Implementing New UK Work Permits

Increasing troubles post BREXIT regarding immigration is concerning the UK officials, newly appointed Home Secretary, Amber Rudd, have confirmed that work permit will be the ideal option to restrict the number of EU citizens coming into UK. She also stated that any changed made at this point should benefit the UK economy.

When asked about the considering Australian style points system for immigration, as informed by the UK Prime Minister recently, Ms Rudd was quick to dismiss the calls. However she have clarified that Mrs. Theresa May former home secretary has rejected the points system idea when it posted on her wall saying, ‘it simply wouldn’t work in Britain'.

In a recent interview with the BBC, Rudd have reiterated May’s stance concerning over the points based system and informed that the UK government is looking for an alternative option for EU nationals to Work or enter in UK. Rudd also stated, “Whether we look at a work permit system or another system is something that my department is looking closely at the moment.”
