Change In Norway Visa Fee

Immigration News

The Ministry of Justice has decided to change the fees which you have to pay in order to apply for Norway residence permits, permanent residence permits and family immigration permits.

Fees for applications

Type of permit

Residence permit 
(usually entitles the holder to work)

2.500 NOK

Permanent residence permit 
(previously called settlement permit)

1.900 NOK

Citizenship

3.500 NOK

Family immigration permit
- First-time application
- Renewal


3.750 NOK
1.100 NOK

Group permit (when the employer applies on behalf of a group of employees) 

1.100 NOK (per person)

 

The new fee structure will be in force from January 1, 2012.
