CIC PlansTo Launch Canada New Immigrant Investor Venture Capital Pilot Program

Chris Alexander, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), and business leaders have met in Toronto to discuss about the plans concerning a new Immigrant Investor Venture Capital pilot program that is expected to energize the economic growth of the country and bring major investments to Canada.

Canadian government is trying to obtain advice from the business leaders of the country pertaining to important aspects of the new Immigrant Investor Venture Capital pilot program. Similar kinds of meetings are to be held in the coming weeks at Halifax, Calgary, Vancouver and Montreal.

These meetings are scheduled to promote the government’s plan to end the Federal Entrepreneur (EN) Program and federal Immigrant Investor Program (IIP) in Economic Action Plan 2014, end the application backlogs and launch the new pilot programs that will conform to the economic needs of Canada.

New Immigrant Investor Venture Capital pilot program is being designed to be more emphasized and efficient in making immigrants certain that they will be able to deliver true benefits to the economy of Canada and also get benefitted.

Chris Alexander said that the government is willing to attract business people, who possess true skills and is eagerly waiting for the launch of new Immigrant Investor Venture Capital pilot program to build successful situations for Canada as well as to the fresh immigrants, who intent to make true investments in their nation.
