CIC Publishes The Express Entry Report

The CIC ( Citizenship and immigration Canada ) has published  its mid-year report on Express Entry.  The report offers full picture of Express Entry system and it includes information about total invitations, total applicants as well as complete breakdown of the candidates by score profile.

Few highlights include

• The CIC has received nearing to 112,701 potential candidates profiles during 1st January 2015 to 6^th July ,2015.
• About 48,723 were not eligible for the pool as they did  not meet the minimum criteria for the  permanent residence based on varied programs such as  , Federal Skilled Trades, Federal skilled worker, Canadian Experience Class or Provincial Nominee Program.
• Out of 12,928 invitations been issued, during the period covered by the report, nearing to 70% had received qualifying scores i.e 600 points, meaning those candidates have had qualifying job offers supported by the Labour Market Impact Assessment(LMA),  Provincial Nomination program (PNP) certificate or labour Market opinion(LMO).
• Nearing to 85 % of the Candidates were invited to apply through Express Entry were already in Canada.
• Eventhough 12,928 invitation has been issued, only 7528 completed application have received. Of these completed applications, we find only 844 permanent resident visas has been issued and fewer than half of these,  411 have been landed in Canada as permanent Residents.
• As of July 6^th 2015, There were about 41,218 candidates in the Express Entry pool
• On July 6^th 2015, of the candidates still in the pool,  about 87% were clustered around 300 to 450 comprehensive score.  These candidates do not have LMIA, LMO or PNP nomination’s and they are awaiting CIC to lower their scores for invitations.
