As per the latest update, a total of 885 applications were received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). CIC recommenced acceptance of applications from 4th May, 2013 under Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) Program. A total of 5000 applications would be accepted from 24 Occupations, and for each Occupation, only 300 applications will be accepted. In addition to this, 1000 application will be accepted under PhD stream. From 4th May, 2013 to 30th April, 2014, a limit of 5,000 applications will be considered for processing. However, there is no limit for the applications received under Arranged Employment category.
