Nasscom, IT industry body lately promulgated in a statement that comprehensive immigration reforms that are going to take place in Immediate future in the United States does not mean that their consistent actions and threats are non-existent. Thus, its quite important for existing government of the nation to stay engaged and up-to-date in the all the matters, said Nasscom President, R Chandrashekhar.

He further added that though the new promulgation had a good impact on United States nationals, the concerned professionals of the nation won’t lose out to overseas employees on pay packages and jobs.

As per the law put forth by the US congress in 2010, visa fee request of H1-B and L-1 classes is about to rise by USD 2,000 and USD 2,250 for the qualified individuals. But this had a bad impact on the Indian IT companies, said the sources.

The United States that is going to prepare for 2016 Presidential election is one of the largest markets for around USD 140 billion IT service industry of India.

When enquired about their new petition to PMO, Nasscom president noted that there is no other separate update, but the body is pleased for specifying their concerns before the government of UK during PM latest visit.
