Newfoundland & Labrador Provincial Nominee Program’s Expression of Interest system for business immigration will ‘continue without interruption’ during the crisis of coronavirus.
The province will start a new round of invitation for its Global Entrepreneur category from 17 April 2020 till 24 April 2020. It will be the 4th application window that started in this year 2020 for the Provincial Nominee Program stream of Newfoundland & Labrador. Further new application windows are intended for May 2020 and June 2020.
The Global Entrepreneur category is designed for experienced owners of the businesses or sr. business managers who intend to permanently settle in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Meantime, the EOI system for Global Graduate Entrepreneurs continues open year-round. The stream is intended at the College of the North Atlantic or Memorial University global graduates who own and run a business in the Newfoundland & Labrador province.
The NL PNP states it will remain with vital services for immigrants and businesses during the crisis of coronavirus.
Application processing and screening will proceed at reducing volume, a statement announced. The NLPNP proceeds to allow online applications, but offline applications are no longer being allowed.
The corresponding appeal to the Atlantic Immigration Pilot (AIP) applications in the province. “Employees who are in the process of producing documentation to companies as part of an AIP application must do so electronically,” the statement announced.
For applicants who are presently outside Canada, Newfoundland says the application will remain to be processed, “but you will possibly can't arrive in Canada in the coming future,” due to the Canadian government limitations. However, the Canadian government has declared a number of exceptions to the ban on individuals entering Canada.
Applicants who have presented Canada PR applications should “wait until there is a further communication on alternative ways to arrive in Canada,” the statement declared. Biometrics submission for candidates is presently postponed till April 13.
