DIBP Website Will Be Under Maintenance From 6-8 Dec,2013

People who are applying for a visa to Australia online are being notified that the DIBP website will be affected by the system maintenance at the start of December.

From 6^th Dec, Friday 9:00 PM to 8^th Dec, Sunday 9:00 PM, (Australian time), maintenance work will affect all online applications.

A Spokesman from the Department of Immigration said that they are making critical changes to the online visa lodging services and the changes will affect all online applications. He explained that if the Visa applications are not submitted by 9:00 PM on 6^th Dec, there will be no access after that time and the process needs to be started all over again.

He added that to avoid losing the saved online visa application, it is important to submit it before 6^th December. During the above time, if there is a Server 500 error message the applicants need to try again after 9 PM on 8^th December and they conveyed their apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
