Canadian companies are permitted to bring temporary immigrant workers into Canada, but they need to do their part to support the protection of the new immigrants and also Canadian residents.

Bathrooms, common areas, and kitchens must be cleaned every day or as often as needed and a record is managed by the workers or the companies. Companies are assumed to provide cleaning materials. They may recruit a professional cleaner.
• Companies should post details about stopping the spread of COVID-19 in the accommodations that they are providing for workers and also comprising the most excellent practices for workers in managing the bathroom and different washing facilities. The government of Canada recommends posting it in kitchens, bathrooms, and other public areas in the worker’s language. 
• Companies must assure the accommodations permit workers to escape contact with individuals above age 65, and individuals with certain medical conditions who are at more risk of producing a severe illness. For instance, a caregiver to a sr. citizen needs to be housed in different accommodations for the term of the self-isolation period.
