Energy Sector To See Substantial Pay Hike

Jobs in resources and energy sector ranging from pipe fitters, builders, technicians to construction engineers will see the biggest salary hike in 2013, mostly in the oil and gas rich provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan, as per a recent report by Conference Board of Canada survey.

Salaries in oil and gas sector would increase faster than expected and Western Canada’s labor market  is tightening as it faces the acute shortage of skilled labour in the resources sector, which is resulting in wage inflation.
