Facebook Expands In Dublin, Ireland

Facebook will create 100 jobs at its Dublin headquarters, increasing the total employee count to 500. Jobs will be in various streams including user operations, advertising, sales, policy and safety.

Ireland is a "great" place for business and has international tech talents in plenty.

"These jobs, which reflect growth in markets across Europe but also the Middle East and Africa, mean we will not only be recruiting from the local economy but supporting local businesses by increasing our footprint,''

"We are determined to build on the major successes in this sector in recent years, in particular by supporting the further development of the thriving cluster around Dublin's docklands,''

"Today's announcement of a significant expansion by one of the biggest companies on the internet, with the creation of 100 high-end jobs, is a major endorsement of the tech environment in Dublin and further confirmation of our city's status as the internet capital of Europe,''

Migrate to Ireland under the Ireland Green Card Scheme. 

The scheme has two major categories:

1. If the employee has an annual salary of EUR 60,000 a year or more (excluding bonuses), the Green Card would be issued for all occupations except for those which are contrary to the public interest

2. Ireland Green Card Permit is issued only for a restricted number of strategically important occupations if the annual salary is between EUR 30,000 - EUR 59,999 (excluding bonuses)
