Hong Kong QMAS: Quota Based Immigration Permit For Skilled Immigrants

Hong Kong Quality Migrant Admission Scheme is the gateway for skilled immigrants who want to migrate to the country for a better life. The permit is quota-based and allocated on a points-based system.

Applicants have to apply for any one of the two points-based test system: the General Points Test (GPT) and the Achievement-based Points Test (APT).

Requirements for the visa scheme are:

• Only candidates aged above 18 or older are eligible
• Funds requirement outlined by embassy has to be met
• Applicant must have no criminal or adverse immigration record in any country in the world
• English or Chinese language proficiency has to be met
• Higher education degree with good track record in educational career
• Skill certification
• Work experience
