Added to this, Ombudsman communicates that foreign workers are those who are not citizens of Australia or Permanent residents and are international students, seasonal workers and backpackers.

One must have a permanent visa or temporary long stay in order to work in Australia and all international workers have rights to protect them from discrimination related to race, religion, color and other reasons when it is a matter of jobs in Australia. Employers who provide work for workers, they have to ensure that they engage foreign workers by complying with both immigration and Australian work place laws.
