Indian Citizens Who Are Holding Schengen Visa, There Are No Restrictions

France, even though experiencing torrid phase due to serial terror strikes in Paris, it has still maintained its composure and have allowed entries to nationals belonging to Indian origin and  holders of valid Schengen visa.

However, we find in line with the Schengen Area’s rules as well as security reasons; France has restored the checks that are systematic in nature with immediate effect at the borders, an advisory has stated.

French Consular services across India Continued to function normally throughout the day and were issuing visas to France to nationals belonging to Indian origin on a regular basis.

The Indian Journalist, who urgently require visa inorder to cover the unfolding tragedy, the French Embassy in New Delhi exceptionally opened its office on Saturday only for 2 hours starting from 4:30 P: M to 6:30 P: M. They delivered visas on the spot to journalists who have all essential documents.

French Embassy has stated at this particular stage; no Indian national has been identified among the causalities.

Francois Richier, Ambassador of France has expressed deep gratitude for the numerous messages of support received by the Citizens belonging to Indian origin of all walks of life as well as opinions.

The Ambassador has thanked the Indian authorities increasing security measures not only to French diplomats but also at its institutional premises.

Meanwhile, the French authorities have closed the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum and also top tourist sites, in Paris UFN following the deadly terror attacks.

A Louvre spokeswoman had stated that the museum has opened on regular Saturday with increased security but later received an order to close from the Culture Ministry after the president Francois Holland has called for national day of mourning.  An Eiffel tower spokeswoman, Isabella Esnos, has stated that they have closed due to security measures.

The Culture Ministry has stated that Public cultural sites were closed in the Paris region Saturday, without specifying.

 The report states that nearing to 127 people have been killed in Friday’s night’s rampage of shooting at Paris cafes, slaughter inside the concert hall and suicide bombing near the France national stadium.
