Indian based businesses in the United States employ 44000 people, and they contribute to over 2 billion dollars American exports. This remarkable contribution from the hardworking Indians earns great respect to the Indians living in the homeland and different foreign lands.

The US has a bilateral trade agreement with India over 100 billion dollars, and the major arrangements are being made to increase the business volume from 100 to 500 billion dollars.

“Investing, trading and travelling to the United States”, the meet organized by the United States embassy and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) revealed some new facts about the trade relations.

Speaking at the event, the Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy Michael Pelletier has said that 69 percent of H1B visas granted to the Indian professionals and the policies are yet to come to make the allocation of permits easy for Indians. Only in 2015 the United States received over one million visa applications.

Indians migrating to the United States is a very common phenomenon, but, the recent developments during the presidential election campaign have disappointed many Indians. However, the US industries are favorable towards Indians migrating to the United States. The US tech Industry and other giants believe in the specialized skills possessed by the Indians.

It is the progressive Indians who have been contributing and helping many countries in driving the economy.
