Indian IT Professionals Take 75 Percent Of 457 Work Visa

The Australian Population Institute report reveals that software professionals is the single largest group making use of the 457 skilled visa category. The professionals from Indian Software industry take the lion’s share, out of the total visas. They are paid $53, 900 or less for their positions depends on role, experienced individuals are paid much higher.

Indian professionals have been successful in obtaining the 457 visas. Most of them have joined for the base salary of $53 000 a year, working in Melbourne and Sydney. They are well integrated with the Australian lifestyle and add great value to social and economic life.

The beneficiaries of this visa will have secured future in Australia. There are 650 professions in the list of skilled occupation list through which individuals can apply for this visa.

Government sees that the Skilled Migration Program of Australia must ensure the labor market needs. It means genuine requirements of the job market without displacing Australian workers.
