Indians To Benefit The Most From Canada's New Immigration Policy

As the festive celebrations have come to an end for every Indian, Canada have provided another reason to celebrate and that reason is the new immigration policy released by the Canadian government yesterday. As Canada’s minister of, immigration, refugees and citizenship Canada John McCallum announced the immigration plan to welcome 300,000 new immigrants into Canada next year is one good reason to celebrate for every one across the globe who aspires to migrate to Canada.

The policy defines about different class of immigration number which will be welcomed next year. The Canadian immigration have decided to drop the intake of refugees next year and that decrease in refugee intake count have added up to the intake for the economic class, this is the category most used by Indian immigrants. Current year the target of accepting applicants for this special category was 160,000, this has now been increased to 172,500. The other class which is mostly used by Indian, the family re-unification class has also been increased by 4,000 to 84,000. McCullum said in his statement, “The 2017, Economic immigration programs will put Canada in a strong position for the future and support our overall economic and social development as a country.”
