With the intention to help companies wishing to bring employees to America, the president, Barack Obama has simplified the process of acquiring L-1B work visas for corporate executives, a boon for Indian IT professionals.
Obama added that this move would actually bring more foreign investment to the US. In addition to this, he is happy to announce a new plan that makes it easy for global companies to invest in the country. The new action will revamp the L-1B visa category, enabling corporations to easily move workers from an overseas office to a US office on a temporary basis.
Obama added that this reform would actually benefit hundreds and thousands of non-immigrant workers along with their employers. Also, the move will benefit the economy and stimulate additional investment.
Further, he added that a comprehensive immigration reform would make America more attractive to businesses and would strengthen the economy. Additionally, they wanted it to make it easy for people who wish to start a business in the country and the new measures would definitely benefit global companies.
Apparently, businesses in America have created over 200,000 jobs per month for a continuous period of one year. And, the unemployment rate has dropped from 10 percent to 5.5 percent. In fact, the manufacturing sector is growing at a faster pace when compared to other sectors. In order to boost this sector, the country has invested around USD 500 million in private as well as public sectors.
USA is the best place to invest abroad and the country boasts of highly qualified workers, the best universities and most innovative entrepreneurs across the world. Obama added that the US provides workers and businesses new tools that are required to succeed in a fast-paced and highly competitive economy.
He added on saying that the country is making new investments in job training and education, including two years of community college free. Additionally, they have plans to renovate ports, reinforce bridges, and to make internet, wireless and broadband more accessible.
