Japan Streches Multiple Entry Visa Period To 10 Years For Indians

Japanese President Shinzo Abe adhering to the announcement in the summit has eased visa norms to Indians who frequently travel to Japan. The new visa policy facilitates business professionals, students and artists. The multiple entry visas valid for five years extended to 10 years.

This move by the Japan boosts the Japanese economy through tourism and frequent movement of people. The easing of policies applies to both Indian and Vietnamese nationals. There a lot of Indians in Japan who contact their relatives in Delhi, Japan wants to make use of these connections to strengthen the cultural and economic relationship between both the countries.

The new visa norms will be effective from February 15, 2016. It benefits the business travelers and cultural or intellectual profiles who take part in the cultural exchange and delivering the ideas of their prowess.

Indians and Vietnamese are presently eligible for five-year multiple entry visas. The new norms will allow them to apply for ten-year multiple entry visas.
