Applicants in 29 technology professions took priority in the recent immigration draw of British Columbia. The August 29 draw viewed 32 invitations assigned to skilled workers and foreign graduates below the British Columbia P.N.P Tech Pilot.
The program of pilot singles out technology workers and knocks them to the beginning of the British Columbia immigration queue. Direct provincial skilled workers needed at least 82 points in the current draw, while skilled workers in Express Entry required 87 points.
Foreign graduates in both the direct streams of provincial and Express Entry required 91 points.

The earlier draw, on August 22, saw 323 invites announced to applicants in all professions. Skilled worker applicants below the direct provincial stream required 82 points to pass, while skilled workers of Express Entry required 87 points.
Foreign graduates in both the categories of direct provincial and Express Entry needed 91 points. Finally, entry-level and semi-skilled candidates needed at least 65 points.
