Malaysia To Go Online By 2015

18 Dec 2012

Immigration News

Malaysia is all set to go online by making available almost all services to the people through internet.

Chief Secretary to the government, Datuk Seri Dr Ali Hamsa, recently emphasized that besides reducing official intervention, civil services going online would reduce the scope for corruption and power abuse. Also, it would be convenient for the people to deal with the government.

The civil servants should, therefore, start studying and developing online applications so the target is fulfilled by 2015. Dr Hamsa was launching the Innovations Day of the Prime Minister's Department 2012 at the International Convention Centre at Putrajaya.
