Manitoba Immigration: Issues 123 Invitations To Apply For Canada PR

Manitoba PNP invited 123 immigration applicants to apply for a Manitoba provincial nomination in a draw that held on May 7.

The invited applicants had their profiles in the Manitoba’s Expression of Interest (E.O.I) pool and came from 3 Manitoba Provincial Nominee (M.P.N.P) Program streams. In these applicants, 14 had valid profiles in the Express Entry pool.

The Letters of Advice to Apply (L.A.As) announced in this round of invitation were given as below:

• International Education Stream: 15
• Skilled Workers Overseas Stream: 14
• Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream: 94

The Manitoba PNP has announced 1,931 L.A.As or I.T.As so far in 2020. This is the Manitoba PNP’s 89th draw since the program started in April 2014.

Federal Express Entry

The 14 Express Entry applicants who are invited for a Manitoba provincial nomination in the 7 May 2020 Manitoba PNP draw now have the opportunity to promote their application to the head of the Express Entry pool.

Express Entry candidates are ranked based on a Comprehensive Ranking System (C.R.S) Scores are determined based on several human capital factors. Those who obtain a provincial nomination are granted an additional 600 CRS points and are completely guaranteed with an invitation to apply from Refugees, Immigration, and Citizenship Canada (I.R.C.C) for Canada PR.

Express Entry applicants who received a Manitoba provincial nomination in this draw indicated that they have a valid Express Entry ID along with a job seeker validation code. They also required to enter into Manitoba’s EOI system.

Manitoba’s EOI

To be invited to apply for a Manitoba provincial nomination by both the categories of Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas, applicants need to enroll in the Manitoba PNP's EOI.

In the most recent draw, applicants invited below the Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream had secured a minimum of 475 points score. The applicants invited below the Skilled Workers Overseas Stream had secured a minimum of 802 points score.

International Education

Graduates from the institutions in Manitoba with specific in-demand skills may be invited below the Stream of International Education. The Manitoba PNP sent out 15 LAAs or ITAs to candidates in the International Education Stream in this draw.
