The 82nd Manitoba's Expression of Interest draw held on 30 January 2020, issuing 181 invitations to apply to immigration applicants aiming for a Manitoba’s provincial nomination for Canada PR.
The Manitoba's Provincial Nominee Program (M.P.N.P) issued 181 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to applicants from the below three streams:
In the total 181 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) issued in this EOI draw, 11 were sent to applicants who had an active Express Entry profile.
To be invited for a Manitoba's provincial nomination through both the Skilled Worker Overseas and the Skilled Worker in Manitoba categories, contestants need to enrol an Expression of Interest (EOI) with the Manitoba's PNP.
An E.O.I is an online profile that ranked for 1,000 points score. Points are given for a candidate’s skilled work experience, age, education, connections to Manitoba and proficiency in the languages of English or French, among other parameters.
A fixed number of the top-scoring applicants receive an ITA, permitting them to apply for a Manitoba's provincial nomination for Canadian PR.
In the present draw, the lowest-ranked contestant invited below the Stream Skilled Worker in Manitoba had a score of 548 points. The lowest-ranked contestant invited below the Stream Skilled Worker Overseas had a score of 679 points.
The Category Skilled Worker Overseas permits Manitoba's PNP to choose and nominate skilled immigrant workers who can better support the Manitoba province’s labor market.
Contestants must have an established association with Manitoba such as nearby family or friends, past education or work experience in the Manitoba province, or receiving an invitation through Strategic Recruitment Initiative, among other criteria.
The 39 applicants who are invited by the Skilled Worker Overseas Stream were received invitations directly by the MPNP below the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
Contestants invited by the Category Skilled Worker in Manitoba must be working in the province of Manitoba and have a permanent full-time job offer from their organization, among other parameters.
Manitoba province graduates with in-demand skills may receive an invitation under the Stream International Education.
