Global student graduates & skilled workers in Manitoba and overseas were invited in the most recent Expression of Interest draw that held on 2 January.
The Manitoba Provincial Program announced details of the draw. They declared a total of 186 Letters of Advice to Apply (L.A.As) to contestants in the below 3 streams: Skilled Workers Overseas Category; Skilled Workers in Manitoba category; and the International Education Category.

This is Manitoba PNP’s 80th EOI draw since the EOI program started in April 2014.
Out of the 186 LAAs announced in Manitoba province’s latest draw, 24 LAAs given to applicants who had a active profile in the pool of Express Entry.
The Federal Express Entry system controls the pool of candidates for the three Economic immigration categories of Canada:
To be recognized for a Manitoba provincial nomination, Express Entry contestants must have suitable work experience in one of Manitoba province’s In-demand occupations, along with other requirements. They need to submit a separate EOI to the Manitoba Provincial Program.
To be invited for a nomination from Manitoba province through both the categories of Skilled Workers in Manitoba & Skilled Worker Overseas, applicants need to enroll an Expression of Interest (EOI) with the Manitoba PNP.
An E.O.I is an online profile that given with a rank out of a 1,000 points score. Points are granted for a candidate’s educational level, work experience, links to Manitoba and skill in English or French, along with other factors.
In the most recent draw, the weakest-ranked applicant invited beneath the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category had a minimum score of 534 points.
The lowest-ranked contestant invited from the Skilled Worker Overseas category had a minimum score of 708 points.
The Manitoba PNP’s Skilled Workers Overseas Category provides the Manitoba PNP to choose & then nominate skilled immigrant workers who can help to support the labor market of Manitoba. They don't need to be in Manitoba province at the time of application to qualify.
The 42 applicants who received invitations through the Skilled Workers Overseas Stream were directly invited by the M.P.N.P under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
Applicants invited by the Category of Skilled Workers in Manitoba need to be working in the province of Manitoba and also need to have a permanent and full-time job offer from their employer along with other criteria.
Graduates from Manitoba with in-demand abilities may be invited below the International Education Category.
