The Manitoba province invited 224 immigration applicants to apply for a nomination from the province for Canadian PR in a draw conducted on 25 September.
The Manitoba province’s 73rd EOI draw concentrated on candidates who had a profile enrolled beneath one of three Manitoba PNP pathways: Skilled Worker Overseas, Skilled Worker in Manitoba, and the International Education Stream.
Manitoba province has now announced 6,381 Letters of Advice to Appeal (LAAs) this year to immigration aspirants through these pathways.
Of the 224 Letters of Advice to Appeal (LAAs) announced 25 September 2019, 15 went to applicants with a genuine profile in the Canadian Express Entry system.
The Express Entry system runs the pool of aspirants for three of Canadian principal economic immigration classes:
Applicants who suit for Express Entry are provided a rank based on the score of Comprehensive Ranking System that recognizes human capital parameters such as age, educational qualification, and language proficiency.
The top-scoring candidates are encouraged to apply for Canada PR by regular draws from the pool of Express Entry.
140 LAAs went to applicants with an EOI in the Category of Skilled Worker in Manitoba, which grants a Canada PR pathway for eligible temporary immigrant workers in the Manitoba province and foreign graduates from post-secondary educational institutes of Manitoba.
To be recognized, applicants must be working in the province of Manitoba and have a permanent full-time job offer from their organization, among additional criteria.
The lowest-ranked candidate in the Category of Skilled Worker in Manitoba secured a score of 537.
59 LAAs went to applicants in the Category of Skilled Worker Overseas. Candidates picked below this category were invited directly by an Initiative of Strategic Recruitment, which can accommodate overseas recruitment missions regulated by the Manitoba PNP, often in partnership with Manitoba businesses.
The lowest-ranked candidate in the Category of Skilled Worker Overseas secured a score of 703.
Manitoba graduates with specific in-demand talents may be invited beneath the Stream of International Education.
This stream comprises 3 sub-categories:
The Manitoba PNP gave 25 LAAs to International Education Stream applicants in latest week’s draw. No minimum EOI score was provided.
