Appellants who are qualified for Express Entry are awarded a Comprehensive Ranking System (C.R.S) score based on human capital parameters like age, relevant work experience, official language knowledge, and education.
The highest-scoring contestants are invited to apply for Canada PR through the regular Federal Express Entry draws, which normally happen every couple of weeks.
While a provincial nomination will give additional 600 CRS points to Express Entry applicants. These additional points effectively ensure that they will obtain an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in a consequent Express Entry draw.
To be counted for a provincial nomination from the province of Manitoba, Express Entry contestants should submit a separate E.O.I profile to the Manitoba PNP and also have suitable work experience in one of the Manitoba in-demand professions, among other conditions.
It is one of the most successful Canadian PNPs and permits Manitoba to nominate international workers and foreign graduates for Canadian PR.
To apply for both streams of Manitoba PNP's- Skilled Workers Overseas and Skilled Workers in Manitoba, candidates should first enroll in Manitoba PNP's Expression of Interest (EOI).
These EOI profiles of Manitoba PNP are granted a score out of 1,000 points. Contestants with the best scores are invited to apply for a Manitoba provincial nomination in the periodic draws. Invited candidates have 60 days to submit their comprehensive application for a Manitoba PNP's provincial nomination.
